Love Ogah, daughter of renowned preacher Bishop David Olaniyi Oyedepo, has shared a chilling childhood memory involving an attempted assassination on her father, which she described as nothing short of miraculous.

Speaking during a recent sermon, Love recounted how a group of armed men broke into their home late at night with the intention of taking her father’s life. Despite the attackers' clear mission, she said, what unfolded left her convinced of divine intervention.

According to her, the men forcefully entered the house and began searching for Bishop Oyedepo, founder of Living Faith Church. Although he was present in the house at the time, Love said the assailants were unable to locate him.

"They searched the house for hours. We had to hide behind the door. They even shot at it, and the bullet struck my upper gum," she recalled, describing the moment with emotion.

Love said the situation became even more distressing when her aunt, overwhelmed with fear, began crying, worried about what could happen if the attackers found Oyedepo. However, after a prolonged and fruitless search, the gunmen left the house without discovering his presence.

What followed, she said, was equally astonishing. Her father emerged from his room and calmly stated that he had been observing the events the entire time but had not been seen by the intruders.

“It was a moment I will never forget,” she said. “That day, I saw the power of God’s protection firsthand.”

Love concluded her account by urging believers to cultivate a deep personal relationship with God, stressing that divine protection is real and available to those who walk closely with Him.

Her testimony, shared on April 16, 2025, has since gone viral, sparking widespread discussions online about the nature of spiritual protection and the possibility of supernatural intervention.
