Dr Ago Tetteh, husband of popular broadcaster, Bridget Otoo, has cautioned against the consumption of cocktails prepared with dry ice, emphasizing the potential dangers to health.
Taking to the X platform Dr Ago highlighted the misconception surrounding the use of dry ice, noting it as a chemical unsuitable for consumption.
According to him dry ice is primarily composed of frozen carbon dioxide, poses significant risks to health when ingested.
He added that numerous pubs in Accra are guilty of serving customers' cocktails with dry ice.
"Stop drinking cocktails prepared with dry ice. You are killing yourself. Dry ice is a chemical and not suitable for consumption. Many pubs in Accra are culpable," he wrote.
