Three rooms of a ten-bedroom house in Tsibu Darko, Cape Coast, were destroyed in a fire caused by negligence, while the remaining seven rooms were saved thanks to the quick response of the University of Cape Coast Fire Station.Upon arrival, firefighters found three rooms already engulfed in flames but managed to prevent the fire from spreading further.

According to the Ghana National Fire Service (GNFS), the fire was sparked by a lit match and combustible materials.The blaze resulted in the destruction of three rooms and their contents.
