1 min readThe 3 Battalion of Infantry (3Bn), based at Liberation Barracks in Sunyani, has commenced the Basic Non-Commissioned Officers Tactical Course 1-2025 (BNTC 1-25) as part of efforts to enhance the skills and professionalism of its soldiers.

The 21-week program is designed to equip personnel with essential tactical knowledge and leadership capabilities.

Participants will undergo rigorous training in physical fitness, minor tactics, weapon handling, and military law, all aimed at strengthening their operational readiness. Welcoming the trainees, Commanding Officer of 3Bn, Lieutenant Colonel Kofi Akoto Appau, urged them to approach the course with dedication and strive to uphold the Army’s high standards.

In his opening remarks, the General Officer Commanding Central Command, Brigadier General Michael Opoku, underscored the significance of continuous training in building a competent and disciplined force.

He advised participants to remain focused and warned against the misuse of social media, particularly the unauthorized sharing of military-related content.
