In a recent interview with Onua FM, Agyapong questioned the backlash she received after advising that people should have sex before marriage if they intend to spend their lives together.
1
“So if you’re about to get married, and both families know you’re about to get married and have given their blessings, what is wrong with it?” she asked.

Her comment follows an earlier interview with Joy FM, where she faced criticism on social media for stating that sex before marriage can help prevent adultery and divorce.
3
Backing her view with reasoning, Agyapong explained that many marriages end due to frustration stemming from sexual incompatibility.
4
“The reason I said that was because, according to the Bible, God does not like adultery and divorce. And the major vow of marriage is, for better or for worse, till death do us part,” she said.
5
She continued, “If a man who likes sex marries a woman who doesn’t, he will be frustrated and may end up cheating. It’s better they know how compatible they are before getting married.”
6
The celebrated musician maintained that her concern is about long-term happiness in marriage, stressing that knowing one’s partner in every sense—including sexually—is key to a lasting union.
