Before the show, his manager had accused three major London promoters—Alordia, Akwaaba UK, and West Coast—of trying to sabotage the event. However, the CEO of Akwaaba UK strongly denied the claims.

Despite concerns that the concert would flop, especially as it clashed with another event headlined by R2Bees, Stonebwoy proved doubters wrong by selling out the venue and putting on a memorable performance.
