Ghanaian musician Stonebwoy couldn’t hold back his emotions as he performed his song titled "My Name" to a packed crowd at the 2,000-capacity O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on March 8, 2025.

The song, released in 2017, is a fan favorite that tells the story of his struggles and strong faith in God. Sitting on a stool, Stonebwoy delivered a heartfelt performance, pausing at times to wipe what seemed like tears from his eyes.

Before the show, his manager had accused three major London promoters—Alordia, Akwaaba UK, and West Coast—of trying to sabotage the event. However, the CEO of Akwaaba UK strongly denied the claims.

Despite concerns that the concert would flop, especially as it clashed with another event headlined by R2Bees, Stonebwoy proved doubters wrong by selling out the venue and putting on a memorable performance.
