Speaking on United Showbiz, aired on UTV on March 15, 2025, Yaa Yeboah questioned why the police have yet to provide any updates on their investigations or actions taken to apprehend the perpetrator.
1
"Why haven't we heard from the police about Kofi's case till date? Have they been forced not to work on the issue? Because that's what it looks like. Even the recent Nungua shooting incident has seen the suspect remanded. So why hasn't the person caught on camera in this case been arrested or dealt with?" she asked in Twi.
2
She further suggested that the lack of progress raises concerns about possible interference in the case.
3
"I don’t want to believe that some prominent individuals are lobbying for the case to be overlooked to protect the suspect. But how else do we explain this silence?" she questioned.
4
Yaa Yeboah urged the police to act swiftly, emphasizing that justice must prevail.
5
"As we speak, we don’t even know if the suspect has been arrested. There has been no police statement, absolutely nothing. The laws work in this country, so the police should act on it as quickly as possible," she stressed.
6
Her remarks have sparked discussions on social media, with many calling for accountability from law enforcement regarding the case.
