Oscar-winning actor Sir Anthony Hopkins' home is reportedly one of the thousands destroyed in the Los Angeles wildfires.
The Port Talbot-born star posted a message on Instagram supporting those affected, saying "the only thing we take with us is the love we give".
Reports indicate that the 87-year-old lost his home in the Pacific Palisades fire, one of the biggest in the Los Angeles area, which has destroyed thousands of buildings.
Meanwhile, firefighters in California are struggling to contain wind-driven wildfires that have killed 10 people, destroyed neighborhoods, and forced thousands to flee their homes in fear.

Hopkins, who won best actor Oscars for The Silence of the Lambs in 1991 and The Father 30 years later, wrote: "As we all struggle to heal from the devastation of these fires, it's important we remember that the only thing we take with us is the love we give."
Several celebrities have also lost their homes in the fires, including reality star Paris Hilton, actor Billy Crystal from When Harry Met Sally, Oscar-winning songwriter Diane Warren, Cary Elwes from The Princess Bride, talk show host Ricki Lake, and The Hills stars Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag.
