1 min readGhanaian Afrobeats artist Kelvynboy, whose real name is Kelvin Brown, has shared his desire to make peace with Stonebwoy.Kelvynboy, who was once signed to Stonebwoy's Burniton Music Group (BMG), parted ways with the label in 2019. The split was not smooth and even led to the removal of Stonebwoy's then-manager, Blakk Cedi, from the label.

Since then, the bond between Stonebwoy and Kelvynboy has been tense, with no signs of communication between them.In a recent chat on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz show with Andy Dosty, Kelvynboy revealed he’s been trying to fix things with Stonebwoy, who had influenced him to grow his locks.

The "Down Flat" singer explained that for the past five years, he’s made several attempts to reconcile with his former mentor, but Stonebwoy has not responded."I've been trying to make peace with Stonebwoy for five years now, but to no avail," Kelvynboy stated during the interview.Kelvynboy felt enough time had passed for them to settle their differences, admitting that he could barely recall the cause of their fallout.

"At this point, I can even forget about what led to the misunderstanding," he added.Despite the lack of response from Stonebwoy, Kelvynboy maintained that he still holds great respect for his former mentor.
