Renowned Ghanaian celebrities joined forces with the Ministry of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts to mark Ghana Month through a unique culinary showcase.

The event brought together stars who demonstrated their cooking abilities while celebrating the nation’s rich cultural heritage.

Musicians Okyeame Kwame and Joyce Blessing, gospel artist Uncle Ato, actor Mr. Beautiful, and several others took part in the festivities, preparing a variety of traditional and international dishes.

Expressing his delight, Okyeame Kwame described the occasion as more than just an annual celebration, highlighting its deeper significance in promoting Ghanaian identity.

"For me, Ghana Month is not limited to March; it represents our lifestyle, philosophy, and Pan-African spirit. This event is simply the icing on the cake—an opportunity to embrace and showcase who we are," he stated.

Gospel singer Uncle Ato, who eagerly took on the challenge of preparing jollof rice, underscored the importance of honoring Ghana’s culture.

"This is a time to appreciate our music, food, and way of life. Cooking is just one of the many ways we celebrate and contribute to building the Ghana we envision," he remarked.

Kumawood actor Clement Bonney, popularly known as Mr. Beautiful, applauded the ministry’s efforts in organizing the initiative.

"Thanks to the tourism ministry, we have this wonderful opportunity to celebrate Ghana Month. I'm preparing an international version of jollof to add a special touch," he said.

Gospel musician Joyce Blessing, thrilled to be part of the event, expressed her enthusiasm for both cooking and celebrating Ghanaian heritage.

"Taking part in this is exciting. Cooking is a joy for me, and I believe my dish will stand out," she said with confidence.

Ghana Month, observed every March, serves as a platform to highlight and promote the country’s traditions, reinforcing national pride and cultural awareness both locally and globally.
