The President of SetApartGirlGhana, Mrs Mabel Mensah Kane, has called on young ladies to live a life of purity both inwardly and outwardly to help society and to regain its sanctity and values. She noted that with the increasing rate of moral decadence among the youth, destroying society’s moral fibre, there was the need for young ladies to standout with a life of purity and make a difference wherever they found themselves.
“As young ladies we have to be unique both in our thinking and our way of life because by so doing we would be able to make a positive difference wherever we find ourselves and on the lives of those who come after usâ€.
Mrs Mensah-Kane was speaking at the 2018 Sisters Unite Conference (SUC) in Accra which was on the theme: “Leaving the Dark Roomâ€.

The conference which was organized by SetApartGirlGhana educated girls who had just graduated from Senior High School (SHS) and university students on how virtues such as forgiveness, faith, love, integrity and accountability could make them standout in a world filled with social decadence.
SetApartGirlGhana is a Non-Governmental Organization that seeks to empowering young ladies through the agenda of sexual purity and redeeming lives through the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Accountability
Speaking on accountability, Mrs Mensah-Kane stressed the need for ladies to be personally accountable to themselves.
She said when people became accountable to themselves by doing the things they know they should do, it distinguishes them from the crowd.

“If you want to advance your life personally, spiritually or professionally, you must hold yourself accountable for your actions, responsibilities, and goalsâ€, she said.
Forgiveness
A Radio presenter and founder of Girl Unashamed, Ms Jeremie Van-Garshong, urged ladies who had gone through traumas to have a forgiving spirit.
This she said would heal them of any pain and give them a pure heart to live their lives in ways that would please God and themselves.
“Forgiveness should be immediate. It is a gift you give to yourself not the other person. It is for you. Understand that healing is a process and allow God guide you through it.â€
She emphasized on blessing those who cause pain. Staying pure in heart and mind, serving and loving unconditionally.
In attendance were Pastor Mrs Charity Ankrah, founder of Perfect Ladies Incorporated and Ms Princess Sekyere Founder and President of the Intelligent Lady Network.
Other supporting speakers included Mrs. Mina Forson from Virtuous Ladies, Mrs Folake Amanfo and Lady Reverend Adaeze Oyoka.
