Watch video of thousands throng street to demand justice for Mohbad

Demonstrating a powerful sense of unity and a fervent call for justice, Nigerian youths hit the streets of Lagos to advocate for justice on behalf of the renowned Nigerian musician, Mohbad.

The demonstrators passionately voiced their concerns regarding the issues surrounding the untimely demise of Mohbad.

In a video, the protestors were gathered in the heart of Lagos carrying placards with messages such as “Justice for Mohbad” and “Protect Our Artists.”

Nigerian rapper and singer, Mohbad, known by his birth name Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Aloba was confirmed dead on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

He died at the age of 27. His death was allegedly caused by an injection he received after visiting the hospital on Tuesday.

This tragic event has reignited discussions surrounding the alleged rift between MohBad and his former record label, Marlian Records. It has garnered considerable attention on social media, with Nigerians sharing their thoughts and speculations about the circumstances leading up to the artist’s passing.

Meanwhile, The Nigerian police announced that there would be a “comprehensive investigation” to ascertain the details of his passing.
