Mubarak Wakaso has welcomed compatriot Patrick Twumasi to Deportivo Alaves.

The two Ghana internationals will be playing as teammates in the coming season in the La Liga after Twumasi finalized his move to the club on Thursday.

Twumasi, 24 arrives from Kazakhstani club Astana on a four-year deal.

He joins Wakaso who had joined Alaves a season earlier as a free agent after mutually terminating his contract with Greek club Panathanaikos.

Wakaso shared a picture of the new teammates with the caption; “Welcome bro” when they met up at Alaves’ camping base.

Twumasi is likely to make his Alaves debut when they play Real Oviedo in a friendly on Saturday.
