The devoted West Ham supporter’s journey paid off when Kudus, his favorite player, netted a crucial equalizer with a free-kick after the opponents had taken the lead.

Ghana triumphed 2-1, securing qualification as group leaders for the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, scheduled to be held in Ivory Coast next year.

After his remarkable performances at the 2022 World Cup and a successful stint with Ajax Amsterdam, numerous European clubs expressed interest in Kudus. West Ham eventually secured his signature a few weeks ago.

Kudus made his debut for West Ham just before the international break, making a brief appearance in injury time during their 2-1 victory over Luton Town. Despite this brief stint, he had already amassed a passionate following in London.

Kudus is expected to return to West Ham the following week, where fans are eagerly awaiting his arrival to witness his exceptional skills. His presence is highly anticipated in an upcoming match against Manchester City at the London Stadium as the Premier League resumes.
