Teni’s sophomore album ‘Tears of the Sun’ is out now!

Nigerian pop sensation Teniola Apata, popularly known as Teni or Teni Entertainer, has unveiled her much-anticipated sophomore album, ‘Tears of the Sun.’

The 16-track masterpiece, released on Friday, November 17, 2023, comes under the banner of her newly established record label, Sugar Mummy Records.

‘Tears of the Sun’ stands as a milestone in Teni’s musical odyssey, reflecting her evolution as an artist and her adeptness at seamlessly blending diverse genres and influences.

The album offers a captivating fusion of Afro-pop, Afrobeats, and high-life rhythms, characterized by Teni’s distinctive powerful vocals and enchanting melodies.

The lead single, “No Days Off,” released in May 2023, gained rapid momentum, setting the stage for the album’s eagerly awaited debut. Teni followed up with two additional singles, “Lanke” and “Malaika,” further solidifying her stature as a dominant force in the Nigerian music landscape.

‘Tears of the Sun’ boasts collaborations with esteemed artists such as Made Kuti, ODUMODUBLVCK, and the French-Cameroonian singer TayC. These partnerships contribute an extra layer of richness and diversity to the album, showcasing Teni’s prowess in connecting with artists from various musical backgrounds.
