A video featuring the arrested Ghanaian young man popularly known as “Demon” and his girlfriend is circulating on social media. The footage shows Demon and his girlfriend enjoying themselves in an uncompleted building, appearing happy together.
The video was recorded before Demon’s arrest, where he was apprehended after publicly displaying firearms and making threats in a viral video.
The arrest gained attention on various platforms, leading to discussions about public safety and the involvement of security forces.
Demon’s arrest
Ibrahim Mohammed, a 23-year-old suspect prominently featured in the viral video, has been handed over to the police by community members who earlier conducted a raid on the house.
During questioning, he identified himself as hailing from Adansi Fomena Kusa but currently residing in Madina, Accra.
Mohammed claimed to have been invited to the Bosomtwe District about a month ago by the other suspect in the video, identified as Kwame Sarpong, who is a distant family member.
The second suspect, Kwame Sarpong, an unemployed accomplice who had been evading arrest, has also been captured by the police. The owner of the house where the suspects were found is slated for interrogation.
Ibrahim Mohammed is expected to face legal proceedings as the police intensify their investigation into the threatening incident depicted in the viral video.
