Protestors participating in the #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration have been prevented by the police from advancing towards the Jubilee House.
Consequently, the protestors have chosen to sit down on the road, singing the national anthem to express their dissent.
Notably, several Ghanaian celebrities, including Efia Odo, EL, Kelvyn Boy, John Dumelo, and comedian Warris, aligned themselves with the Democracy Hub group for Day 2 of the #OccupyJulorbiHouse demonstration.
These celebrities were seen seated on the ground as a symbolic gesture of their discontent.
Earlier on Friday morning, these celebrities, along with other demonstrators, gathered at the 37 lorry park with the intention of marching to the Jubilee House.
The group has been critical of the government on multiple occasions and has been actively organizing a series of protests to urge the government to implement measures aimed at alleviating the hardships faced by Ghanaians.
