The Accra Regional Police Command has said it is closing in on the robbers who shot some police officers and civilians over the weekend at Dansoman in Accra.
The officers were responding to alerts of a robbery which was taking place in a house in the area when they were shot at.

Three out of the four police personnel were treated and discharged from the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, but others are in a critical condition.
In an interview with Citi News, the Accra Regional Police Commander said the perpetrators will soon be apprehended.
“We haven’t arrested anybody yet but we are on them. We have had a bit of information about the guy who did that and now we are trailing him,†he said.
Four Police officers were shot by robbers at Asore Danho, a suburb of Dansoman in Accra.

Two other civilians, a man and woman also sustained gunshot wounds according to the Greater Accra Regional Police Command.
The incident occurred at about 11:00pm on Saturday, police told Citi News.
The officers were responding to alerts of a robbery which was ongoing in a house at Dansoman.
