Nigerian musician D’banj’s one-year-old son dead

Nigerian musician, D’banj, has lost his one-year-old son.

The unfortunate incident occurred on Sunday, June 24, 2018, at the singer’s home in Ikoyi, Lagos.

According to sources, D’banj’s one-year-son, Daniel Oyebanjo III, drowned in the pool located in the house.

The singer thereafter took to his Instagram page to announce the unfortunate incident.

He wrote: “Trying times, but my God is always and forever faithful.”

According to reports, the remains of the child has been moved to the morgue.

Oladapo Daniel Oyebanjo, known by his stage name D’banj, is a Nigerian musician, singer-songwriter, entrepreneur and television personality.

He has won several music awards, including the awards for Best African Act at the MTV Europe Music Awards 2007, Artist of the Year at the MTV Africa Music Awards 2009 and the Best International Act: Africa at the 2011 BET Awards.

He also won the Best-selling African Artist at the 2014 World Music Awards, Evolution award at the 2015 MTV Africa Music awards
