Nana Agyemang Badu II has fulfilled that promise by handing out a cash of $25,000 to the team at the Abanpradease Palace in the Dormaa.

He expressed his gratitude to the team, led by Yahaya Mohammed, Joseph Addo, Elvis Opoku and Emmanuel Akuoku, for their exploits in the competition.

“I’m proud of you for your performance and I have absolute trust in you,” Nana Agyemang Badu II said.

He appealed to the team to win their final two games to book their place in the knockout round of the competition.

Captain Yahaya Mohammed thanked Nana Agyemang Badu II for the gesture and assured him of their maximum effort in their two remaining games.

“We the playing body are very happy for this, we are surprised by this. Nana has shown how committed he is to the team. There is no football activity in the country, and for this gesture we are absolutely relieved.

According to sources, the players will share the money based on the number of matches they have played.
