As at press time, her decision to delete the account was not known. Her action does not come as surprise to the public including us at zionfelix.net as this is not the first from the musician.

In the run-up to the 2016 general elections, the singer who is an ardent user of social media networks and has a large number of followers was among the numerous vocal celebrities who had come out to support the NDC and its flagbearer, John Dramani Mahama.

Mzbel was heard vehemently campaigning against the NPP and boldly said the presidential candidate of the NPP, now president, Nana Akufo-Addo, was “not presidential material.”

Enraged supporters of the NPP who after their victory, went after the singer on all social media platforms and subsequently to her home to attack her.

In a move for Mzbel to avoid the public while trying to put her life back together after the loss of party the mother of three bailed out on Instagram and resurfaced weeks later.

However, the circumstances surrounding the latest erasure of her revived Instagram account has not been made known to her fans.

Meanwhile, MzBel is not the first celebrity to delete her social account.

Early this year, multiple award-winning songstress Rebecca Acheampong known in music circles a Becca was forced to delete her Instagram following allegations of bleaching leveled against her by a section of Ghanaians on social media.

According to the critics, the complexion of the “African woman” singer had to change over time with some attributing it to her likely use of skin lightening products.
