Ghanaian blogger Sika Kwaku Dennis, popularly known as Sika Official has rapidly gained fame for his significant influence on Twitter.
Within less than 2 years, this GH Media alumnus and part-time videographer has made a notable mark.
He has gained a reputation for openly expressing his views on events and progress within the continent.
During interviews, Sika Official he shared that his remarkable achievements did not come easily or on a silver platter, emphasizing the pivotal role his mother played in his journey to success.
His mother’s relentless hard work and sacrifices ensured that he had the opportunity to receive an education and wear a clean school uniform.
Sika recounted how he witnessed his mother’s dedication, waking up early to prepare them for school while managing her own business. Despite her immense efforts, he emphasized the need for additional support for his hardworking mother.
There were times when the family faced difficulties due to business downturns, leaving them wondering how to sustain themselves. However, they persevered and found a way to survive during these tough times.
Sika’s upbringing, particularly assisting his mother in selling roasted plantains, provided him valuable life lessons and helped shape his character.
Reflecting on his journey, Sika revealed that just four years ago, he was a laborer, hustling tirelessly to make ends meet.
Fast forward to 2021, he received accolades as the winner of the Pulse Blogger Influencer Of The Year. Not long after, he clinched yet another prestigious award at an event held at Labadi Beach Hotel – the Outstanding Blogger of the Year award.
In this award category, Sika Official emerged victorious, surpassing competition from other popular Ghanaian bloggers like ZIONFELIX and GH Kwaku.
This award marked his 5th consecutive win out of 11 nominations, all achieved within a span of less than 2 years.
