Manchester United’s defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka is facing an extended period on the sidelines due to an injury sustained during their 3-1 defeat at home to Brighton over the weekend, as confirmed by the Premier League club on Monday.
While the precise nature of the issue is still under assessment, United has ruled out the right-back for “several weeks.” According to a report in The Athletic, the England international, who made a late appearance as a substitute in the 85th minute on Saturday, is expected to be out of action for approximately two months due to a hamstring injury.

Wan-Bissaka’s injury further compounds the growing injury woes at Manchester United, with midfielder Mason Mount and defenders Luke Shaw and Raphaël Varane also sidelined in recent weeks.
Manchester United faces Bayern Munich in their opening Champions League Group A match on Wednesday, followed by a Premier League fixture against Burnley on Saturday.
