Kenichi Yatsuhashi has begun life as new coach of Ghanaian champions Aduana Stars, just few hours after arriving in Dormaa, according to a report by footyghana.com.

The Japanese-American trainer was contacted by the Dormaa-based club after deciding to dispense with the services of coach Yusif Abubakar on Tuesday.

Footy-Ghana.com can confirm that all negotiations between the two parties were concluded before he made his way from Accra to Dormaa in the company of a club official in the early hours of the day.

Aduana have a Caf Confederation Cup fixture at home to DR. Congo’s AS Vita Club next week Wednesday and were keen on having their new coach in post before the game.

And Yatsuhashi started work moments after he was officially introduced to his new charges at training this afternoon.

Kenichi Yatsuhashi only left fellow Ghana Premier League outfit Inter Allies just about a week ago (July 3). He requested for the termination of his contract due citing inactivity caused by the current impasse between government and the Ghana Football Association which has halted football activities in the country.

Aduana Stars become the third club in Ghana to be coached by Kenichi Yatsuhashi after initially arriving in the country as Hearts of Oak trainer.
