Ghanaian female reggae and dancehall artiste, AK songstress, has revealed that she has been getting approaches from some juju men either on social media and some personal encounters.

In an interview with DJ Aligator on Sunyani based Storm FM, the “Odo” hitmaker stated that when they (Juju men) approach her, they make promises of making her shoot to fame within the shortest possible time but she turns them down as her religion does not support such act.

“A lot of juju men chase me. Most of them reach out to me on Facebook and also personal encounters. They promise to make me more famous within a short time but I always turn them down. The Bible says we have the right to do many things but it is not all that fit us.”

AK Songstress added that the only true way to succeed in the industry is to wait upon the Lord’s appointed time because the devil will never give out anything for free without asking for something in return.

“I believe it is all about time…and God has time for each and everyone. When your time comes, people will follow you even if you cough. There is no need for us to rush.

“As they continue to approach us, some of them may fall for it. But for how long can that [juju] help you?” she queried, adding, “People are doing it…a lot of things happen in this industry.”

Akosua Kwakye won the award for The Best Female Musician (GH) City People Entertainment Awards Nigeria 2015 and the best female vocalist Bass Awards 2015.
