Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Isaac Owusu Bempah has vowed in anger, that until Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper and mentor of Anas Aremeyaw Anas, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako goes back to Peace FM to apologetically withdraw his use of the phrase ‘dead wood’ on him (Bempah), he will make Kweku Baako see “ogya”, he said in Twi in an audio obtained by MyNewsGH.com.

“I will never forgive him (Kweku Baako). He will see! Dont tell me I am a man of God. Is a man of God supposed to be without self-worth? Me, Owusu Bempah, you look at me and call me ‘dua-wu-y3’. He has insulted me ‘paaa oo’. In fact he said a dead goat is better than me. What! Does he know the repute of my congregation? People 1000 times better than him sit in my church, but, look, I will show him!”, MyNewsGH.com translated his Twi words to English.

Reverend Owusu Bempah said he had a lot of respect for Kweku Baako until he went for the tape from Peace FM and listened to Kweku Baako dress him down and questioning his stance as a man of God.

In the audio MyNewsGH.com has, Rev Bempah said aside the ‘dead wood’ insult which hurt him deeply, he felt very humiliated by Mr Baako’s comments to the media no to call him (Owusu Bempah) to speak on issues in the media. He said he has not been slighted in a more demeaning way than that comment, asking what gives Kwaku Baako the right to jump from one media house to another media but he Bempah had no such rights.

“I have never spoken against Kwaku Baako. But it shocks me he chose to insult me so badly. He is an arrogant man. He shouldn’t bring his things to me. If I were a member of his family, he would have been happy.” Rev Bempah said.

Background

Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako whose protege is renowned investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas jabbed Isaac Owusu Bempah when he said that Pastors with questionable characters and deeds will soon be investigated and exposed.

Categorically mentioning the name of men of God such as founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah whom he doubts is a true man of God will soon be put under the radar and scrutinized.

“Who is Owusu Bempah, does he have a church…I have to put them on my radar. These churches and pastors, it’s about time that we re-examine them critically. Too much pollution in the air, When the spiritually engage in scare mongering I should not react? They do it all the time. I repeat we have to put them on the radar, useless prophesies and scare mongering all over the place. Today they say this, tomorrow they say another thing and waste everybody’s time,” Baako said on Peace FM Wednesday.

Reverend Owusu Bempah had on Tuesday in an interview on Okay FM backed Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s relentless campaign against investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.

I will investigate Anas spiritually – Owusu Bempah

According to the man of God, after watching the Number12 documentary on football corruption, he realized there are several questions for Anas to answer.

“Anas in his video told Kwesi Nyantakyi that the money was for shopping so why does he turn round and say that he offered bribe to the former President of the Ghana Football Association. Again, he also presented monies to people like referees, Match Commissioners when they hadn’t asked him for it, and he again turned round to say they collected bribe,” Rev Bempah said.

“I did not understand why Anas concluded he gave bribe to Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, immediate past president of Ghana Football Association when he told him the money was for shopping.”

But this did not go down well with Kweku Baako who called Rev Bempah a ‘piece of dead wood’ who will soon be exposed.
