Editor-in-Chief of the New Crusading Guide Newspaper, Abdul Malik Kweku Baako whose protege is renowned investigative Journalist, Anas Aremeyaw Anas has disclosed that Pastors with questionable characters and deeds will soon be investigated and exposed.
According to him, men of God such as founder and leader of the Glorious Word and Power Ministry, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah whom he doubts is a true man of God will soon be put under the radar and scrutinized.
“Who is Owusu Bempah, does he have a church…I have to put them on my radar. These churches and pastors, it’s about time that we re-examine them critically. Too much pollution in the air, When the spiritually engage in scare mongering I should not react? They do it all the time. I repeat we have to put them on the radar, useless prophesies and scare mongering all over the place. Today they say this, tomorrow they say another thing and waste everybody’s time,†he said on Peace FM Wednesday.
Reverend Owusu Bempah on Tuesday in an interview on Okay FM backed Kennedy Ohene Agyapong’s relentless campaign against investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas.
According to the man of God, after watching the Number12 documentary on football corruption, he realized there are several questions for Anas to answer.
“Anas in his video told Kwesi Nyantakyi that the money was for shopping so why does he turn round and say that he offered bribe to the former President of the Ghana Football Association. Again, he also presented monies to people like referees, Match Commissioners when they hadn’t asked him for it, and he again turned round to say they collected bribe,†Rev Bempah said.
“I did not understand why Anas concluded he gave bribe to Mr Kwesi Nyantakyi, immediate past president of Ghana Football Association when he told him the money was for shopping.â€
Rev Owusu Bempah questioned why Anas walks around covering his face if he genuinely thinks what he was doing was the right thing and was good for Ghanaians.
But Kweku Baako, Rev Isaac Owusu-Bempah as a ‘dead wood’ saying his activities must be monitored and scrutinized.
