UK’s High Commissioner to Ghana, Iain Walker, says he is more comfortable wearing African print than suits here in Ghana.

According to the diplomat in an interview with Ghanaweb, Ghana’s weather isn’t conducive for suits and ties.

The statement is likely to impact the wearing of the local print among the diplomatic corp.  According to him, Ghana’s weather isn’t conducive for suits and ties, but best for African print, hence his love African wear.

“I do love to wear them. They are stylish, and the weather here is better than being in shirt and tie and suits”.

The High Commissioner who has tried to engulf some Ghanaian culture also disclosed his addiction for ‘Kofi Brokeman’, roadside roasted plantain.
