The Office of the Member of Parliament (MP) for Klottey Korle Constituency, has cautioned the public to be wary of fraudsters impersonating Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings.
In a statement posted on her official Facebook page on Wednesday, 20 June 2018, Ms Agyeman-Rawlings said it has come to the attention of her office that “some unscrupulous persons are going about claiming to be associates of Dr Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings, demanding various sums of money from unsuspecting well-wishers under the guise of ‘assisting’ them in various issuesâ€.
The release revealed that the “fraudsters are using fake Facebook accounts and other modes of communication to perpetrate their fraud†and emphasised that “Dr Agyeman-Rawlings does not demand money from anyone to offer them opportunitiesâ€.
In addition, the statement said: “Staff of the office of Dr Agyeman-Rawlings are not authorised and do not collect monies from any persons, in return for any form of support or favourâ€.
Individuals who have been victims of such acts have also been advised to report to the police for necessary action.
