An unidentified man’s decapitated body has been discovered in a bush at Ntewusae, a farming community in the Krachi West Municipality of the Oti Region.
The naked body was found lying in a supine position, sparking rumors of ritual murder.
The distressing find incited anger among community members, stakeholders, and the local Assemblyman, who promptly informed the Police.
The Assembly member of Ntewusae Electoral Area, Philip Donkor, confirmed the incident and reported it to the Kete-Krachi Divisional Police Headquarters.
The body has been transported to the morgue.
Residents expressed their sorrow and concern over the unusual killing, considering it a grim sign for the community. Following the discovery, many individuals contacted their loved ones to ensure their safety.
A Police source has verified the incident to the Ghana News Agency (GNA).
