Ghana Water Company to cut water supply from the Kpong facility for pipeline repairs

The Ghana Water Company Limited has announced a temporary service interruption to facilitate the rehabilitation of the main transmission pipeline stretching from the Kpong treatment plant to the eastern part of Accra.

According to the company’s statement dated Friday, September 22, 2023, this interruption will be in effect from Sunday, September 24th, to Thursday, September 28th, 2023.

During the maintenance work, the following areas will be affected: Gbetsile, Afienya, Zenu, Prampram, Mataheko, Katamanso, Dawhenya, Sakumono, Batsonaa, Klagon, Tema Township, Adjei Kojo, Borteyman, Santeo, and the surrounding regions.

”Management is therefore entreating customers in the above-stated areas to store enough water during the period in which the works will be carried out”.
