Book of condolence opened for the late Theresa Kufuor

A book of condolence has been opened to allow people to express their condolences and memories in honor of the late former First Lady, Theresa Kufuor.

Dignitaries from various sectors have gathered at the Peduase residence of former President John Agyekum Kufour to offer their condolences and support during this difficult time.

Among the sympathizers are Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia, founder and CEO of Salt and Light Ministries, Rev. Joyce Aryee, NLA Director-General Sammi Awuku, and National Security Minister Kan Dapaah.

During an interaction with the well-wishers, former president John Agyekum Kufuor momentarily broke down, but his brother gently tapped his chair to encourage him to compose himself.

Mrs Theresa Kufuor’s demise occurred in the afternoon of Sunday, October 1, 2023. This brought an end to her 61-year marriage with former President Agyekum Kufuor.
