His stellar performances have propelled Girona to win four of their initial five games, with the remaining match ending in a draw.

Girona currently holds the third position in the LaLiga standings, sharing points with Barcelona and trailing the early leaders, Real Madrid, by just two points.

Savio was brought to Girona on a season-long loan from the French club Troyes during the summer transfer window. It’s worth noting that both Girona and Troyes have affiliations with the City Football Group.

Savio’s journey includes a breakthrough in his home country with Atlético Mineiro before joining Troyes in 2022.

Last season, he gained experience on loan at PSV Eindhoven, where he featured for both the first team and the reserve squad.
