President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and First Lady Rebecca Akufo-Addo are actively rallying support for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer for the upcoming elections.

Following his designation as the first candidate on the ballot for the December 7, 2024 elections, the president shared Bawumia’s campaign materials on social media, urging voters with the hashtag #ItIsPossible.

Rebecca Akufo-Addo echoed this call on Facebook, emphasizing the importance of voting for Bawumia as the number one candidate.

Other party officials, including Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the NPP's running mate, also promoted the campaign, while Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Minister for Works and Housing, and Richard Ahiagbah, the NPP’s Director of Communications, reinforced the message on various platforms.

Henry Nana Boakye, known as Nana B, the NPP National Organizer, joined in, proudly declaring the party’s top position on the ballot.

The Electoral Commission’s recent ballot draw placed Dr. Bawumia first among 13 presidential candidates, setting the stage for a competitive election season.
