Former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah has praised Sharaf Mahama, a football agent and the son of President-elect John Dramani Mahama, for his strong work ethic.
In a video circulating on social media, Stephen Appiah was seen sharing light-hearted moments with Sharaf Mahama in a friendly and cheerful manner.
Both expressed kind words about each other, with the legendary Ghanaian footballer commending Sharaf’s hard-working and determined attitude.
“This guy likes flexing. He looks like a 'dada bee' but he is not. He is a hard guy. We are enjoying ourselves,” Appiah said in a video selfie with Sharaf Mahama.
The about 2-year-old video resurfaced after Sharaf Mahama's father, John Dramani Mahama, won the 2024 presidential election.
Former President Mahama, who ran as the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), secured 56.55% of the valid votes, defeating 12 other candidates. His main rival, Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), received 41.61% of the votes.
The NDC has also claimed victory in more than two-thirds of the parliamentary seats, winning over 180 out of 276.
Sharaf Mahama is a former footballer and a FIFA-accredited player agent.
