The event, which kicked off on November 20 at the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja, has featured thrilling competitions in nearly 20 sports, including athletics, football, basketball, handball, judo, and boxing.

The host nation also secured two gold medals in handball after defeating Ghana in both the men’s and women’s finals.In athletics, Kenya’s Gur Meshack Babu triumphed in the men’s 100m finals with a time of 10.57 seconds, narrowly beating Ghana’s Shuaibu Marizuk, who clocked 10.59 seconds to claim silver. Jeovany Ramos Andrade of Cape Verde took bronze with 10.67 seconds.
