1 min readFootball Association of Zambia has officially named Nora Häuptle as the new head coach of the Copper Queens after she parted ways with Ghana’s Black Queens.The announcement was made on Friday at the Taj Pamodzi Hotel, where the Swiss coach signed a three-year deal to take charge of Zambia’s women’s national team. She takes over from Bruce Mwape, the former coach.

Häuptle’s main goal now is to prepare Zambia for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which will take place in July.Her first task is to get the team ready by planning a series of friendly matches to help them improve.Interestingly, Zambia had previously knocked out
