Nora Häuptle’s main goal now is to prepare Zambia for the 2025 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), which will take place in July.
4
Her first task is to get the team ready by planning a series of friendly matches to help them improve.

Interestingly, Zambia had previously knocked out Häuptle’s former team, Ghana’s Black Queens, in the qualifiers for the 2024 Olympic Games after a two-legged match.
6
After Häuptle left, the Ghana Football Association appointed Kim Lars Bjorkegren as the new head coach of the Black Queens.
