Speaking during an appearance on 3Sports on May 23, Dr Randy Abbey shared key details about the team’s schedule.

He said “We had a meeting with the management committee, and the team will assemble in London on the 25th,” he said.
2
“They would have three training sessions before the first game on the 28th against Nigeria".
3
Despite the ongoing seasons for many Ghanaian players across Europe’s top leagues, Dr. Abbey shared key details about the team’s schedule during an interview with 3Sports.
4
He also spoke on the challenges with the squad's availability, citing clubs' unwillingness to release some players due to their schedules and also issues of player injury.

“There are quite a number of players who are injured. There are a few players who are also engaged in qualifying games for Europe, and so their clubs won’t release them. Mind you, this period is outside the FIFA free period.
7
“And so, for those whose leagues will still be in session, and they are still in contention, they might not be available, plus the injured players,” he added.

The senior national team is scheduled to participate in a four-nation tournament that features Nigeria, Jamaica, Trinidad, and Tobago in the United Kingdom later this month.
9
The four-day tournament is set to begin from the 28th to the 30th of this month, with Ghana set to face long-time West African rivals Nigeria's Super Eagles in the semifinal.
10
The tournament would be played at Brentford’s Gtech Community Stadium, with kickoff at 19:00 GMT.
11
The winner of that encounter will qualify for the final slated for May 31, with a 12:30 GMT kick-off, to take on either Jamaica or Trinidad and Tobago.
12
The Unity Cup fixtures serve as a key part of Ghana’s preparations for their 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying campaign.
13
The Black Stars will resume qualifiers in September with games against Chad and Mali, before wrapping up with fixtures against Comoros and the Central African Republic in October.
