2 mins readFormer Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich is still living in Turkey after being hit with sanctions, and his £500 million ($610 million) superyacht remains marooned.After Russia invaded Ukraine, the European Union and the UK government imposed sanctions on Abramovich. As a result, he agreed to sell Chelsea for £2.35 billion ($2.87 billion) to Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital.

However, the money from the sale is reportedly frozen in a bank account and hasn't been used.Although Abramovich continues to enjoy a luxurious lifestyle, The Telegraph reports that his freedom to travel the world has been greatly restricted. For now, he is based in Turkey because he can no longer take his usual winter trips to the Caribbean, which were once a big part of his European lifestyle.
