Romelu Lukaku, a professional football athlete, has voiced his wish to depart from Chelsea in favor of joining Roma. Both clubs are currently in talks to arrange a temporary transfer agreement. Lukaku was supposed to stay with Inter permanently after his loan, but Inter got upset when they found out he was also talking to Juventus. Chelsea and Juventus talked a lot about a deal for Lukaku. They also talked about Vlahovic moving to Chelsea. But they couldn't agree on a deal. Juventus fans made it obvious that they were not happy about Lukaku possibly joining the team. They expressed their dissension by demonstrating during a pre-season game. According to The Telegraph, Lukaku has changed his mind about joining Juventus and has told Chelsea that he wants to join Roma instead. The report says that Chelsea and Roma are currently discussing an agreement that would allow Lukaku to go on loan to the Serie A league for the rest of the season. Chelsea manager Mauricio Pochettino said that Lukaku will not be allowed back in the team. "I haven't talked to him yet because nothing has changed," said Pochettino. If the player and the club want to figure things out, they should talk to each other, not me. They can let me know if something is different. I won't move until either the club or the player decide to talk to me. I agreed with the situation when I got here. I couldn't make any changes. It happened before we got here. In the future, things may be different. Football is a sport where things can constantly change. Life can be different. Right now, today, everything is still the same. If something is different, we will change to fit in with the new situation.
