Ponferradina of the Spanish Segunda Division side have signed Ghanaian midfielder Sabit Abdulai.
Sabit Abdulai leaves Getafe to Ponferradina on a loan deal.
He has taken his medical test and passed successfully.
Sabit took his first steps in Spanish football in the ranks of Extremadura UD, which in 2018 incorporated him to play with its subsidiary team in the Third Division.
In the 19/20 season, the 23-year-old had the opportunity to debut with his club in LaLiga SmartBank, where he made four appearances and scored one goal.
He joined Getafe CF on loan in the summer of 2020 to reinforce his subsidiary team in Segunda B.
Due to his good performance, he was promoted to the first team where he made his debut in LaLiga Santander in a match against CA Osasuna. He also featured against Barcelona and Granada and made 15 appearances in the process.
In July 2021, when he was preparing for the first team, he suffered a serious injury that prevented him from competing last season.
