Football Insider has reported that Manchester United has shifted its focus away from potential January transfers for young center-backs such as Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace, Goncalo Inacio from Sporting CP, and Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice.

Manchester United is actively seeking a young center-back due to injuries impacting Raphael Varane and Lisandro Martinez, and there's the possibility of Harry Maguire departing when the transfer window reopens.

Although these three players have been linked with the club, financial constraints at Old Trafford mean that transfer fees for any of them could reach €60 million or more.

Instead, Manchester United is reportedly considering a move for Uruguayan international Sebastian Caceres, who currently plays for Club America.

Signing Caceres would come at a considerably lower cost.
