Modric will play his final match at Real’s Bernabeu home when they welcome Real Sociedad on Saturday in their final La Liga game of the season.

Taking to his Instagram page, the 2018 Ballon d’Or winner shared a warm message recounting the 'impossible moments' turned possible with the help of every teammate, fan, and club management.

"The time has come. The moment I never wanted to come, but that's football, and in life everything has a beginning and an end… On Saturday I will play my last match at the Santiago Bernabéu.
