Andre Onana, the goalkeeper for Inter Milan, has addressed the rumors surrounding a potential summer transfer to Chelsea.

It is reported that Chelsea is in search of an experienced goalkeeper, as their current options, Kepa and Edouard Mendy, are not considered favorable by the incoming manager Mauricio Pochettino.

Football London suggests that Onana has become a key target for Chelsea, with several other clubs also expressing interest in the Cameroonian goalkeeper due to his impressive performances throughout the season with Inter.

The former Ajax ace was part of Inter's squad that lost to Manchester City in the Champions League final on Saturday in Istanbul.

However, he was unable to help his side win the tournament, with Rodri's solitary goal steering City to victory.

Onana speaks on Chelsea links

The Cameroon international used the occasion to address rumours linking him with a possible summer move to Stamford Bridge.

Speaking on the reports, Onana was coy about what the future holds for him at San Siro, adding that he is happy at the club.

"I don’t know. The truth is that I’m happy here, but then at a certain level you never know how it will go," Metro UK quoted Onana saying when asked about his future.

"I have no problems with Inter. I have an excellent relationship with them and I’m at their disposal. I’ll do what they tell me," he added.

Onana consoles Martinez

Earlier, it was reported that Inter Milan goalkeeper Andre Onana showed class after immediately running to a visibly broken Lautaro Martinez to console him following the defeat to Manchester City in the final of the UEFA Champions League.

Martinez had a chance to win the game for the Italian giants moments before Rodri netted the only goal as Manchester City were crowned champions of Europe.

After the game, Martinez seemed to have not forgiven himself for the missed opportunity as he broke down in uncontrollable tears.
