Black Stars winger Osman Bukari has offered an apology following Ghana's underwhelming performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast.

Ghana was eliminated in the group stage after securing only two points out of a possible nine.

Bukari, acknowledging the team's disappointing showing, expressed his regret and admitted his contribution to the setback.

Despite the setback, he assured fans that the team would redouble their efforts and come back stronger in the next tournament.

It has taken me quite a number of days to gather the words to address you, our dear fans, because of the embarrassment we brought on the nation & the fact that we let you down. Our inability to advance to the next stage has hit heavily on me, for I contributed a part in it.
