Former Netherlands goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar has provided a positive update on his health, stating that he has been moved out of the intensive care unit after experiencing a brain bleed.

The 52-year-old, renowned for his successful career with Manchester United and Ajax, was initially hospitalized while vacationing in Croatia before being transferred to a Dutch hospital.

In his statement on Twitter, Van der Sar expressed relief at no longer being in the ICU.

However, he remains hospitalized for further treatment and recovery, with hopes of being discharged soon to continue rehabilitation at home in the following week.
