1 min readFrench footballer Benjamin Mendy is set to receive a significant portion of the £11 million in wages owed by his former club, Manchester City, following a ruling at the Manchester Employment Tribunal.According to The Mirror, Mendy won the majority of his £11 million claim against Manchester City.Employment Judge Joanne Dunlop provided further details on the decision at the tribunal.

“[Mendy is] entitled to recover some, but not all, of the sums claimed. While Mendy was not in custody, he was ready and willing to work and was prevented from doing so due to circumstances that were unavoidable or involuntary on his part.
