Chelsea has confirmed that Enzo Maresca will continue leading the team into next season despite the uncertainty surrounding the club's qualification for the Champions League.

According to sources, the club's management team, led by co-sporting directors Paul Winstanley and Laurence Stewart, have decided to keep Maresca till summer next season to make a judgment on his future.

Chelsea currently ranks fifth on the Premier League table, with just two rounds left in the Champions League but they are only ahead of Aston Villa on goal difference, with matches at home to Manchester United and away at seventh-placed Nottingham Forest to come.
