Bayern Munich is reportedly intensifying its pursuit of Barcelona center-back Ronald Araújo, as per Diario Sport.
Sources suggest that the Bundesliga champions have devised a plan to acquire the 24-year-old, with an anticipated offer of around €100 million.
Despite Araújo's importance to the La Liga outfit, Bayern is confident that Barcelona will be compelled to accept the proposal given their financial predicament.
Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel views Araujo as a cornerstone of his forthcoming project, with the club hierarchy ready to make him their flagship signing on a contract that could potentially exceed double the salary offered by Barca.
Araújo's representatives have reportedly been approached by Bayern Munich, with the defender having already made 25 appearances across all competitions this season.
It seems Barcelona may soon face a challenging decision regarding his future.
