Barcelona has reportedly narrowed down their search for a new coach to just four candidates: Roberto De Zerbi, Hansi Flick, Thomas Tuchel, and Julian Nagelsmann, according to Sport.

Since January, sporting director Deco has been diligently assessing potential options, following the announcement by current manager Xavi Hernández that he will step down at the end of the season.

Working closely with President Joan Laporta, Deco aims to finalise the decision on Xavi's successor within the next month.

While De Zerbi has received positive feedback and expressed interest in the role, his €15m release clause poses a challenge in negotiations with Premier League outfit Brighton.

On the other hand, the trio of Flick, Tuchel, and Nagelsmann are deemed more accessible.

Flick, the former Bayern Munich and Germany coach, is currently available, while Tuchel's tenure at Bayern concludes in the summer, and Nagelsmann's contract with Germany expires after the upcoming European Championships.
